Robinsons

Unreliable internet connection is a common problem here in the Philippines, the WiFi in my uncle’s house being no exception, so I visited Robinsons mall in Bacolod to try and work out which sim card I should buy in order to be able to give 3G a go. I feel like the competing companies make their offers purposefully difficult to compare, but I finally plumped for one that offers “15 hours of unlimited internet” to be used at any time within a 7 day period for about £1.50, which seems like a good deal for Skyping, but less so for Facebook browsing :/

Anyway, none of that makes for a good picture so instead, here are some pictures of a Chinese New Year costume display, a “Bacolod” mural, and a fish shaped ice cream (which I bought for the novelty but was actually really yum!).
